Compensation: Base Salary ($65,000 - $70,000) + Performance-Based Bonus (10%)

As part of the Distribution Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Sales efforts in the Americas and other territories, working closely with internal departments to ensure seamless deal processing. Responsibilities include deal management, content coordination, report generation, meeting preparation, research, and project contributions. The ideal candidate has client-facing experience, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a genuine passion for entertainment content. Collaboration, adaptability, and a can-do attitude are highly valued, along with knowledge of the TV industry and rights licensing.


In addition, this role provides the opportunity to provide support to the Senior Vice President, Sales, Americas, enabling you to make a meaningful impact on the TV Distribution business, and content industry broadly, while driving departmental performance and process improvements.


Role Responsibilities:

 

Sales Support and Deal Management

  • Support Sales efforts in the Americas and potentially expand into other territories.
  • Set up and maintain deals in various sales systems.
  • Track the workflow of deals across internal departments to ensure timely processing and address any issues that may arise.
  • Liaise with the content team to stay updated on available content and the development slate.


Client Communication and Meeting Preparation

  • Check availability and generate reports for clients.
  • Create presentation decks for client meetings.
  • Ensure sales executives are prepared for meetings by sourcing sales materials, giveaways, and pitch documents.
  • Attend client meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up accordingly.


Market Support and Research

  • Manage schedules for markets and sales meetings.
  • Attend markets when requested and provide support to marketing efforts if there is a lounge presence.
  • Conduct research to identify new buyers and market trends.
  • Capture schedules and ratings from broadcast partners for internal sharing.


Content Tracking and Evaluation

  • Review content available for sale in the Americas and maintain key information (premiere dates, delivery dates) on each project in collaboration with other internal stakeholders (Acquisitions, Marketing, Legal).
  • Track, manage and organize creative materials for all projects.
  • Evaluate creative and recommend potential buyers on an as needed basis for new projects.


TV Distribution Support

  • Provide administrative support (e.g. scheduling, calendar, expenses, travel) to the Senior Vice President, Sales, Americas
  • Proactively suggest ways to improve departmental performance and processes.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required by the business.


Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in media/entertainment, managing client follow-ups through exceptional written and oral communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong skills in establishing and nurturing both internal and external relationships, collaborating effectively with high-level senior managers.
  • Demonstrated superior organizational, communication, and analytical abilities, with a collaborative and flexible mindset.
  • Familiarity with the domestic TV landscape, staying up to date with industry trends, and possessing an understanding of product rights licensing.
  • A genuine passion for entertainment content, coupled with a desire to build a long-term career in content sales within the TV and film industry.
