Job Summary:

Supply and Distribution Drivers may get a glimpse of giraffes when they deliver merchandise to the Animal Kingdom Lodge or hear the squeals of delight when supplying a restaurant near Hollywood Studios Runaway Train. Our drivers are Disney Cast Members, which means they’re part of the team that helps people create memories that last a lifetime. The candidate for this opportunity must have a class “A” CDL driver’s license and have a minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience.

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $27.28 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food, beverage, merchandise, costumes & other supplies across Walt Disney World
  • Knowledge of all routes & roadways to all delivery destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort, including Theme Parks, Waterparks, Resort Hotels, and Disney Springs
  • Capable of working at a consistent pace and the ability to exceed performance expectations
  • Perform daily pre & post trip inspections on trucks
  • Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required

Basic Qualifications:

  • A valid Florida CDL Class “A” driver’s license for at least one year
  • Must have experience with Manual Transmission - Our trucks are 10-speed tractor trailers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout shift
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
  • Recent tractor-trailer experience or experience driving commercial vehicles such as vans, straight trucks, etc.
  • Ability to pass the Disney road test
  • Ability to obtain one-year valid DOT medical card from Disney’s Health Services
