🎨 Production Designer – Vertical Feature Film

Job Description:

We’re crewing up for our next vertical feature and are looking for a Production Designer who can bring style, tone, and story to life — all within the 9:16 frame.

This is for creatives who see vertical not as a limitation, but a challenge — and an opportunity to think differently about space, blocking, and storytelling. You’ll be a key player in building out elevated, emotionally resonant worlds that feel big — even on a small screen.

Our projects are scripted stories (30–120 min total runtime), broken into dozens of 75-second episodes, designed for mobile-first platforms like Reelshort and Dramabox. We move quickly and shoot economically — and we need a PD who thrives under those conditions.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience as a Production Designer or Art Director on scripted narrative content
Visual creativity and a strong sense of story-driven design
Ability to design and dress spaces that translate well to 9:16
Comfort with limited budgets and maximizing production value through smart choices
A collaborative spirit — you’ll work closely with the director, DoP, producers, and costume/props teams
Fast prep, fast shoots — you’re able to make quick, effective decisions and pivot as needed
Familiarity with vertical storytelling a plus, but not required
Experience on platforms like Reelshort, Dramabox, MyDrama a bonus
