Summary

The Event Activations Intern will support the Venue Entertainment Team as an Activations Project Manager across both Shared Reality and Sports events. This role will contribute to the end-to-end development of venue activations from ideation and concept deck creation to market research, fabrication feasibility, and installation planning. Key responsibilities include evaluating activation concepts through cost analysis, benchmarking against successful market examples, and outlining logistical and technical requirements. The intern will also collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the marketing and design teams as well as external vendors to support the communication, design, and execution of each activation.

This role is ideal for someone who is creatively driven, passionate about entertainment, highly organized, and thrives on bringing bold ideas to life.

Responsibilities

• Generate and pitch creative activation ideas informed by trends and fan engagement strategies
• Assist in building creative decks, briefs, and visual references for internal and external stakeholders
• Support design pre-visualization through mood boards, layouts, and mockups
• Help track activation timelines and cross-team deliverables from concept through execution
• Assist with budget outlines, fabrication quotes, and ROI documentation
• Research competitive activations and experiential trends to inform strategy
• Maintain organized records of vendors, concepts, and past activations
• Join brainstorms and team meetings, offering both creative and logistical input
• Support on-site during installs and events as needed
• Stay current on immersive tech, brand experiences, and event innovation

Qualifications

• Strong PowerPoint skills for building clear, engaging presentation decks.
• Experience communicating with external vendors or partners professionally.
• Prior involvement in physical event planning, production, or on-site coordination.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for entertainment, immersive experiences, and creative storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for creating and editing visual concepts a bonus, not required.
• Junior or Senior at the start of the program.
• Available to work in a Cosm Office (hybrid).
• Available to work 20 hours per week during the defined Intern period.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
