Job Description

Company Description

Hollywood Media House is a premier public relations agency headquartered in Marina del Rey, CA, representing iconic talent across the entertainment and influencer landscape. We specialize in high-impact press placement, narrative strategy, and 24/7 reputation management, offering full-spectrum services including crisis response, event integration, media training, and editorial production. Our clients include notable digital creators and influential public figures. With a focus on longevity, brand equity, and cultural resonance, we build meaningful visibility and long-term influence for those we represent.

Role: Events & Lifestyle Experience Intern

Part-Time | Hybrid | Unpaid (1–3 Days/Week)

Eligible for college credit. Future paid roles may be available based on performance.

Hollywood Media House is seeking an Events & Lifestyle Experience Intern to support and elevate the work of a team in motion. This role is about connection and shaping the way our clients are experienced in culture, not just where they are seen.

You’ll work closely with a tight-knit founding team of three at an early-stage, fast-growing company where every contribution counts. You will assist in the discovery, curation, and placement of top-tier lifestyle and cultural experiences—from red carpet premieres and fashion week invitations, to private dinners, luxury brand launches, and exclusive activations. You will help shape the environment our clients step into. And you will learn, firsthand, how proximity to the right people and places is no accident—it is built with intent, day-by-day.

This is a great opportunity for a college senior or recent grad looking to gain exposure, grow their skills, and build relationships in the LA/NYC talent and event scene.

This role is based in Marina del Rey, with 1–3 in-office days required weekly. Remote flexibility is available where earned.

Responsibilities

  • Pitch and place clients into the right cultural environments—events across (mainly) Los Angeles and New York—from premieres to fashion shows, private industry dinners to red carpet galas, etc.
  • Assist in the creation and refinement of outreach: targeted emails, talent/event pairing, follow-ups, and placements
  • Pitch to brands for gifting opportunities, wardrobe pulls, and product placements for client-facing events
  • Manage event logistics with discretion and precision: RSVPs, seating charts, wardrobe briefings, and client prep
  • Capture, track, and synthesize post-event visibility: press coverage and cultural traction
  • Research and report on stylists, designers, PR contacts, brand curators, and cultural tastemakers
  • Monitor industry calendars, fashion week schedules, and local launches to proactively identify new placement opportunities
  • Maintain internal databases, trackers, and reports with clarity, confidentiality, and organizational rigor

Qualifications

  • Current college student or recent graduate in PR, Communications, Fashion, Media, or a related discipline
  • Strong communicator—articulate in writing, composed in dialogue, and thoughtful in tone
  • Detail-oriented, responsive, and adept at managing multiple moving parts
  • Demonstrated interest in talent representation, fashion, cultural strategy, or luxury lifestyle branding
  • Familiarity with LA and NYC culture scenes; international perspective is a plus
  • Proficient in Google Workspace; bonus for Notion, Canva, or PR-specific platforms
  • Able to navigate confidential client matters with discretion, presence, and professional maturity

Perks

  • A small, agile team environment where your work is seen, valued, and influential
  • Direct collaboration with the founders and publicists at the heart of strategy and execution
  • Daily exposure to real client pitching, brand placement, event strategy, and cultural matchmaking
  • A hybrid schedule (10–40 hrs/week), flexible to meet university credit or personal availability
  • Opportunities to attend high-profile events with clients
  • Access to exclusive campaigns, red carpet placements, and insider brand partnerships
  • Structured mentorship and feedback to grow your voice and instincts
  • Guidance in building your network across PR, fashion, Hollywood, television, and lifestyle brands
  • Career coaching—whether your path is in PR or beyond, we’ll help you move toward it
  • Potential to grow into a paid role or long-term leadership position if there’s strong mutual fit

Trajectory

Hollywood Media House is a company in motion. We are building with intention, and seeking others who do the same. This role is designed for someone with ambition—quiet or loud—who values substance, discretion, and long-term trust.

What begins as an internship may evolve—into a Junior Publicist, a Client Experience Lead, or a Director of Events & Lifestyle Experience. Whether your strengths lean toward brand partnerships, talent relations, cultural placement, or on-the-ground execution, there is space to grow here—for the right person.

But roles at Hollywood Media House are not given. They are earned—through loyalty, refinement, and results.
