The KNDU/KNDO News Director will lead our top-rated award-winning newsroom. Responsibilities include development and supervision of news department staff, providing direction in story selection, storytelling, and coverage. You’ll coach, critique, and motivate. Required Qualifications & Skills: Applicants require a college degree in journalism, broadcasting, or related field, previous experience as a newsroom leader, and an ability to work in a fast high paced environment. We need a strong leader who can motivate and inspire generations X, Y and Z. And we need a skilled journalist who can deploy our robust staff in a way that ensures we keep our lead on all platforms virtually every hour of every day.
What we offer: Salary range is $70,000 to $85,000…depending on your experience.
