Looking for a dynamic, motivated and experienced Executive Producer with a solid producing background for our number one morning show, Today In Florida. This is a fast paced, 6 hours of hard news, starting at 5AM. This position requires someone with extraordinary leadership skills, sound news judgment, above average people and communication skills, as well as an eye for catching everything from factual errors to grammatical mistakes. Must be flexible in getting breaking news on TV - - blowing out rundowns - - driven by a passion to win.

Basic overview of duties: -Oversee a staff that includes a Senior Producer, six-line producers, reporters, anchors, editors , and the assignment desk.
-Assist producers and the senior producer in the building, changing, and crafting of the newscasts. -Must not be afraid to jump in to write, stack, and do whatever it takes to get the product on TV. -An eye for creativity in terms of writing and helping to produce packages. -May need to assist in the hiring of writers. -Must be able to handle any potential conflicts within the staff.

Basic qualifications: -Must have EP experience in a smaller market and several years of line producing with a clear ability to lead and handle breaking news without panicking.
