Simon & Schuster Audio is requesting a short-term Marketing Manager to support the execution of marketing plans, content creation and social media campaigns for our exciting Fall/Winter/Spring list.

The ideal candidate will be ready to step in day one and deliver results. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, responsible, and creative. Familiarity with book and/or audiobook publishing is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans.
• Social media marketing including the creation of organic and paid campaign assets and copy.
• Oversee the distribution of key marketing assets to various stakeholders, including authors, imprint marketing teams, and digital sales reps.
• Coordinate with imprints on select publicity opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Experience in book publishing, marketing or publicity is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Keen attention to detail and positive attitude
• Must be well-organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure
• Experience with video editing in iMovie or Filmora a plus
• Familiarity with audiobook publishing a plus.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
