Studio Technician

Valuetainment is a dynamic and rapidly growing multimedia platform known for its live and pre-recorded podcasting content. We are seeking a skilled Studio Technician to join our team in the heart of our fast-paced production environment.

As a Studio Technician at Valuetainment, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our live and pre-recorded podcast productions. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the Blackmagic Design ecosystem, including cameras, switchers, controllers, and boards, specifically the Blackmagic Design ATEM 2 M/E Constellation Switcher (1 RU) and ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Control Panel. You will collaborate closely with our production team to deliver high-quality content to our audience.

Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in working with the Blackmagic Design ecosystem, including cameras, switchers, controllers, and boards, especially the Blackmagic Design ATEM 2 M/E Constellation Switcher (1 RU) and ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Control Panel.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in broadcasting is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage the Blackmagic Design equipment during live and pre-recorded podcasting productions.
• Coordinate camera shots according to the specific needs of each show.
• Execute seamless switching for live and pre-recorded productions.
• Collaborate with Producers and the production team to prepare podcasts effectively.
• Oversee master control recording, program scheduling, and content ingestion.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends, as required by the show's needs.
