Job Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cinematographer located in Miami, FL. The Cinematographer will be responsible for camera operation, lighting, video production, camera work, and editing of some of their projects. Some work from home is acceptable for this role. Much of it will happen on location around South Florida. There is also opportunity for travel for projects.
The Cinematographer will work on a variety of projects in our Brand Studio and Originals divisions.
How Your Time Will Be Used:
70% Filming on location
30% Post-production editing: Using Adobe Premiere Pro and working with our creative department remotely
What Were Looking For:
Great portfolio demonstrating visual capabilities
Ability to excel in fast paced environment
Positive energy
At least 7 years of cinematography or director of photography experience in a professional role
Skilled and comfortable in all areas of hands-on video production, including operating modern filmmaking cameras, lights, grip equipment, etc.
Ability to function well in a small crew setting or as a part of a larger crew, whether assisting or coordinating the entire production.
A creative mind with the ability to find visually compelling ways of telling many different types of stories.
Skilled with modern film technology, LED lighting, audio equipment, microphones, and recorders is a requirement.
Comfortable operating drones and Part 107 Drone Certified would be highly preferred.
Significant experience with Sony Cinema Line series cameras.
Self-starter who can quickly grasp a creative concept and take proactive steps to further the vision without close supervision.
Experience working cross-functionally with creative teams to develop high-performing content.
A strong multi-tasker who can meet deadlines by prioritization.
