Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational needs and translate business goals into effective people strategies.
  • Provide HR guidance on organizational structure, workforce planning, talent management, and team development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on people-related matters.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for business, creative, production, technology, and corporate functions.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and hiring plans to attract top talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers to improve recruitment efficiency and candidate experience.

Employee Relations & Employee Experience

  • Support employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution with sound judgment.
  • Drive onboarding, engagement initiatives, and employee experience programs.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

Performance & Talent Management

  • Support performance management processes, goal setting, and employee development.
  • Coach managers on feedback, performance conversations, and team effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for talent growth and organizational improvement.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Manage and improve HR policies, processes, and employee programs.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Partner with external vendors on payroll, benefits, immigration, and HR compliance matters.

Global Collaboration

  • Partner with China-based teams and leadership to support cross-border communication and alignment.
  • Help build scalable HR practices for a rapidly growing international organization.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HRBP, HR Generalist, or People Partner experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment practices and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting fast-growing startups, technology, media, entertainment, or digital content companies preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
  • Hands-on experience managing employee relations, recruitment, and HR operations.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required
