We Are Looking For:
We’re hiring a Live Broadcast Coordinator to join our embedded media production team supporting a global streaming entertainment leader. This full-time, onsite role is perfect for a detail-driven project coordinator with excellent communication skills and experience supporting live productions. You’ll collaborate with broadcast leads, internal teams, and vendors to ensure each live event runs smoothly, managing bookings, calendars, crew communications, documentation, and live show support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and track booking requests, maintaining clear and timely communication via Slack and other internal tools.
- Input and update all booking details, ensuring accurate and complete data capture.
- Maintain a detailed calendar of upcoming events, crew assignments, show needs, and scopes.
- Coordinate with transmission and production partners to ensure alignment on all logistics and deliverables.
- Track and ensure the timely publication of transmission books and run-of-shows.
- Support the Supervisor where needed with crew scheduling matrix for current and upcoming productions.
- Confirm crew assignments and proactively coordinate coverage or backfills with Supervisor approval.
- Ensure all flex crew members and vendors are properly briefed and prepared prior to their on-site arrival.
- Take detailed event notes and submit to the Lead for inclusion in post-event reports.
- Maintain an organized archive of all event reports, tracking key learnings and outcomes.
- Attend pre-production and engineering meetings, documenting technical and logistical needs.
- Assist in operating broadcast equipment and coordinating live workflows as needed.
- Support FAX coordination with production trucks and downstream takers in collaboration with the Lead.
- Troubleshoot and escalate operational issues to the Lead.
- Assist with quality control of streams during live events to ensure delivery meets technical standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in broadcast production, live events, or a related coordination role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interface effectively with teams and partners.
- Familiarity with live broadcast workflows, including scheduling, logistics, and real-time operations.
- Comfortable working with communication platforms like Slack and project tracking tools (e.g., Zoom, Airtable, Monday.com, Comms systems etc.).
- Basic technical understanding of video, audio, and signal transmission systems is a plus.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and maintain high attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by live broadcast schedules.
