How you will contribute to our magical experience?
The Walt Disney Company is seeking a temporary professional to support the International Labor Standards (ILS) program during a maternity leave period with fixed contract. This temporary role is based in Brazil and reports to the ILS Manager LTAM, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Analyst, Labor Standards & Compliance will provide operational and administrative support to ensure alignment with Disney’s commitment to responsible ILS Program across Disney's Licensees & Suppliers.
The Analyst, Labor Standards & Compliance (Temp Role – 7 months) will be responsible for:
- Supporting the ongoing engagement and training of internal business units, licensees, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Responding to inquiries related to ILS audits, policies, and requirements.
- Supporting our Licensees & Suppliers to maintain accurate data in the system (including licensee, factory, audit, and relationship records).
- Ensure alignment of business practices and operations with ILS global objectives.
- Assist the ILS Manager in executing the ILS Program by liaising with business units, licensees, and suppliers—supporting audit processes, addressing factory-related issues, and leading remediation initiatives.
- Design and deliver compliance awareness trainings and capacity-building initiatives for internal ILS teams and manufacturing facilities. Monitor project progress, maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders, and support evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Provide support to the ILS Manager on special projects aligned with compliance objectives. Responsibilities may include preparing ad hoc presentations, translating materials, drafting reports and status updates, and contributing to program strategy, planning, performance tracking, and trend analysis.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Social Compliance Auditors or CSR/Sustainability/Ethical Sourcing/Social Compliance Programs in other sectors (retailers, textile, toys, etc).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Sustainability, Law, Occupational Safety Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced level of English. Intermediate level of Spanish (is a plus).
- Preferred Industries: Audit Firms, CSR/Sustainability/Ethical Sourcing from retailers, textile, toys or other related companies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Very detailed-oriented and organized.
- Flexible to travel and able to work in a multi-task environment.
- Analytical and reporting skills with experience using pivot tables to manage/analyze large datasets (preferred).
- Team player, responsible, hardworking, and adaptable, able to adjust quickly.
